#4 - Maisto
Literally the shittiest name brand 1/64 scale cars around. Although, they were/are very cheap. Which did make up for things.
#3 - Hot Wheels
Overrated. Come at me.
#2 - Matchbox
Because fuck you that’s why.
#1 - Majorette
Because French.

I grew up with Majorette toys because of who knows why. Hot Wheels and especially Matchbox just never seemed to have the same quality.
Agreed that Tomica is hella dope but I never knew about them until well into my teenage years when we discovered Japan existed thanks to a boat full of refugee Pokemon crashing into the Cabot Strait.

You’ve left out Greenlight, Tomica, Johnny Lightning, M2 Machines, Corgi/Husky, Budgie, Norev, Yatming, and Auto World, among others. Also, there are several different distinct “eras” with Hot Wheels and Matchbox, some better than others. HW also has numerous subbrands, such as HW 100%, HW Boulevard, and HW Car Culture, which are very different from the HW mainlines.

I always preferred hot wheels to matchbox as a kid. They just seemed like much better quality. Then as I grew older I started appreciating the hotwheels creations less and less, obviously preferring the more accurate renditions of real cars. I still think most of the hotwheels cars are more durable, but the matchbox ones definitely do a better job of presenting real cars. I’ve not had much experience with any others.

That’s not a toy that’s an adult collectible.

My bad. All those are toys, so my brain went with toys without reading.

Some work great, some have nice suspension, some have functional parts, and some only look super impressive and are expensive, but you need them in your life anyway.
Kinda like real cars. Lol.

I’ll admit the Matchbox car are more realistic, especially since Hot Wheels quality has fallen. But I still think Hot Wheels are just more fun.

#1 is wrong. 2, 3, 4 are probably correct. Tomica rulz.
Edit: Actually, bump 2, 3, 4 down and put Auto World in 2. Yeah...that’s better.
